In early 2007, M.M. Parrish Construction Company was hired as construction manager by the Clay County School District to manage the construction of Clay County's newest high school, High School "QQQ". Since that time, the high school has been formally named, Oakleaf High School.
In May 2008, the project broke ground and in early April 2009, the first tilt wall panels were erected. On June 15, 2010, the Oakleaf High School project achieved substantial completion (ahead of schedule). The new 1,600 student station campus will open this fall to students for its inaugural school year (2010-2011).
