In November 2008, M.M. Parrish Construction along with our design-build partner, SchenkelShultz Architecture was awarded the contract to design and construct a new warehouse facility for Shands HealthCare.

The 77,500 square foot facility is located on Waldo Road north of Gainesville Regional Airport. The warehouse was designed as a support facility to house operations for one of Shands' supply chain services vendors. The majority of the new facility (62,500 square fee) is open warehouse with 28'-0" clear height. A 15,000 square foot, low roof bump-out was incorporated to house office and meeting areas, as wells as three distinct bays for specialty products.

The project was finished one month ahead of schedule and the facility was operational in April.
